GAMBHARI BARK

Gambhari is a fast-growing deciduous tree that belongs to the Dashamoola plant family (group of ten roots). Gambhari is a well-known bitter tonic, and the fruits can be used as a general tonic in times of weakness. It is used to treat vata and pitta disorders. Gambhari's roots, fruits, and leaves have long been used as an anthelmintic, antibacterial, anti-diabetic, anti-aging, painkiller, diuretic, hepatoprotective, and antiepileptic. In May and June, the tree bears fruit.

Yellow thick, oil, resin, an alkaloid, and a little amount of benzoic acid may be found in its roots. Butyric and tartaric acids, as well as sugar and a small amount of tannin, make up the contents of fruits. Lutein, an antioxidant categorised as a flavonoid, may be found in its leaves.

It mostly grows between 1200 and 2100 metres above sea level, from Kashmir to Bhutan. To put it another way, chirata is a plant that is used to manufacture medication. Chirata's above-ground portions are typically utilised for medical reasons. The many therapeutic benefits of this plant are widely recognised in traditional medicine.

Chirata flowers are purple blue and occur in chilly alpine locations. It is recognised for its bitter taste, which is caused by the presence of several bioactive chemicals. Chirata is known by several names in different parts of the world. Chirata is known in Sanskrit as Anaryatikta, Bhunimba, Chiratitka, and Kairata, for example. It's known as Qasabuzzarirah in Arabic and Farsi. Chiaravata is the Urdu name, Sekhagi is the Burmese name, and Chirrato or Chiraita is the Nepalese name. It's also known as "Nepali neem" since it's widely found in Nepal's woods.

Chirata has long been utilised in the medical industry as an ayurveda herb. Fevers, malaria, liver problems, hepatitis, diarrhoea, ulcers, skin illnesses, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, and various mental disorders are all reported to be treated with it. Ayurvedic Remedies- STOMACH ACHE


1. Roast myrobalan(Harad) in ghee, grind it to make a powder. Take  2 grams of this powder with hot water, gas comes out from the stomach and stomachache is cured.

2. Mixing equal quantity of rock salt in 11 fennel seeds, taking it ends stomachache.

3. Taking 1 teaspoon basil juice and teaspoon ginger juice by heating it ends stomachache

4. Drink 1 teaspoon carom seeds(ajwain) , 1 pinch asafetida (hing) powder and 2 pinch black salt with hot  water, there will be no stomach pain.

5. Rubbing some asafetida(hing) and applying it on the navel ends stomachache.
