KAMARKAS , SAGE [Flame of the Forest]

Kamarkas is a Palash tree (Tesu Tree or Dhak Tree) gum that grows naturally in India.
Brihmavriksham is the identifier of the tree. It's a reddish or blackish-reddish gum/gond that appears by the names Kamarkas, Palash Gond, and Gond Chuniya. Butea monosperma or Butea frondosa is the biological name, whereas flame of forest is the English name.

It is often used by women as a treatment for back pain and weakness during pregnancy and after birth. Kamarkas - its usual meaning is "Kamar kasna," which means "waist tightening." For ladies with fragile bodies, this gum (gond) is highly efficient.

Females take it to treat back cramps during pregnancy and after birth. This plant is particularly beneficial to ladies with fragile bodies. Kamarkas plant is used by women in India to treat physical discomfort, weakness, and pliable muscles. It also aids in the reshaping of the body following birth.

BENEFITS

Protection of the body's cells:

Because of its high antioxidant content, sage can protect the body's cells from free radicals.
Free radicals have the potential to induce cell death in the body, impairing immunity and encouraging the development of chronic illnesses.

Treatment of Alzheimer's disease:

Studies have shown that sage can improve your cognitive abilities. Furthermore, this plant helps protect against neurological problems. Another research found that sage can boost memory in healthy persons.

Stabilization of cholesterol and blood sugar levels:

Patients with high cholesterol or diabetes might benefit from consuming sage leaves on a regular basis for three months. The study comprised 40 people who had substantially lower blood glucose, lower fasting glucose levels, and lower cholesterol levels. Thus, following a 2-hour fast, it is possible to infer that sage is useful in lowering glucose levels.

Inflammation relief:

Sage has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties.
This trait, however, has yet to be proven because further evidence is needed to verify the same.

Sage Nutritional Profile:

Sage is a potent herb that is high in minerals and vitamins.
Potassium, folate, magnesium, beta-carotene, and phosphorus are examples of nutrients.
Vitamins such as vitamin K and vitamin A are also claimed to be present in sage.
However, because we ingest such little amounts of the plant, the nutrients obtained by our bodies from it are minimal.
