CHITRAKMOOL-Ceylon leadwort

Plumbago zeylanica is also known the Ceylon leadwort, doctor bush, and wild leadwort. Its name comes from the word "plumb," which signifies lead and agree to impart. Chitraka is a very efficient digestive and carminative plant. Chitrak is classified as rasayan in the Ayurvedic medical system. The blossoms of this useful plant are red, white, and blue in hue. It is a highly significant medicinal herb, and the roots of all this herb are particularly beneficial for heart problems, liver problems, and nervous system problems.
